Hiring Begins For New Martin County Water Park
Hiring has begun for a new water park in Martin County. The Martin County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking qualified applicants for 136 positions at Sailfish Splash Waterpark, which is scheduled to open in the spring. Six managers, 82 lifeguards, 26 cashiers and 20 concession attendants are among the part-time, hourly workers to be hired for the 2012 season. The water park will feature two four-story water slides, a lazy river and an Olympic-class swimming pool. Pay ranges from $8 to $12.50 per hour.
